"The New Normal"
What does "the new normal" look like at OneVision Health & Wellness? Put simply, it is continuing to take the best possible care of you and your family while continuing protocols to maintain a COVID-19 free office.
We have always been committed to providing the best and most advanced eye care possible, while maintaining a personal and friendly experience. Yes, we are smiling under those masks!
We have also always been committed to minimizing the risk of spreading any contagious disease. Cleanliness and sanitary procedures have always been done including cleaning all equipment that comes into direct contact with you between every patient. Other areas, which pre-COVID-19 did not receive as much attention such as door knobs, chairs, etc, are now cleaned with much greater frequency.
We have thoroughly reviewed our policies regarding sanitizing equipment and other sources of potential contamination and will continue to work diligently to maintain a safe environment for you.
We also ask you to do your part and maintain patience with us regarding our new way of doing things.
Most importantly, if you have had direct contact with a COVID-19 positive person or are showing symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, dry cough, etc, or feel sick in ANY way, we ask you to avoid entering our office. We can reschedule your exam for a later time.
When you arrive, please first sanitize your hands at the station by the door. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office for your use.
We ask that all patients limit people accompanying them into the office to one person at most.
When possible, we ask that patients with scheduled exams, complete as much paperwork as possible on-line at least 24 hours prior to their appointment. Instructions will be texted and emailed separately.
Masks will be worn by all office staff. We request that you wear one as well unless you have a medical reason to not. If you do not have a mask, we can provide one for you.
We encourage contact lens orders to be shipped directly to you. If you need them shipped to our office, the ability to have them dispensed in the parking lot is still an option. Just call or text when you arrive and we will bring them out to you.
In our optical department, Janet and Jason are working hard to maintain increased sanitary processes. You may enter the office for optical services without an appointment; however, if there are people already being helped or waiting, we may ask you to wait in your car. In order to serve you better, appointments to order glasses, pick up glasses, or have glasses adjusted/repaired are an option. Please call or text our office to schedule this.
All frames are sanitized regularly. After they are touched or tried on, they will be sanitized again before anyone else is able to try them on. We ask that if you are looking on your own, please do not touch any frame until Janet or Jason are able to assist you.
When leaving the office, paper towels will be provided to use to prevent touching the door handle and a trash can near the door for disposal.
